Tobin Heath made a lot of players look like fools on the pitch. She brought a flair to football that women hadn’t really done, and only a small number do now. In 2016, I visited PDX for the first time to see the Thorns in the playoffs. The atmosphere, even after a loss, and being able to see her play had me in awe. By the 2017 playoffs, I was living in PDX. She brought a lot of people into the sport and will continue to with her analysis and the re-cap show!
