I set a huge goal for 2024 of trying to qualify for gravelworldchampionships I realized in January that it was going to be very hard. Trying to train at BMX contests? Forget it! and the harsh winters left me on the back foot heading into midsouthgravel I knew in that 100 mile race it wasn’t going to happen this year and I didn’t handle the realization the best. I have a competitive streak in me 😂 I remember the years of riding BMX Vert at the highest level I never went anywhere. It was head down,work hard, eat, rest and repeat! Travel, time changes, food choices and events all take a toll on the work ethic required this year. Still after all that, you keep riding as much as you can. On any bike!
