In an era where preaching equality, non violence and peace is considered radical and worthy of being named the most hated man in the world Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was brave enough to fight the good fight and DREAM of a better world despite knowingly facing opposition from the obvious outsiders and the more subtle community in which his efforts were for. May we remember him today, honor his legacy going forward and be brave enough to love and treat each other with respect and kindness no matter the color of someone’s skin. Change comes from within each soul; not politics, government or power structures and the only true change comes through the word of God. The journey may be tedious but as long as we walk with the Lord I know He’ll never lead us astray!
