We wrapped up June by teaming up with Prince George’s County Public Schools to host Civic Leaders, a five-day summer program all about building civic engagement, leadership skills, and confidence.    Middle and high school students spent the week exploring how democracy works, sharpening their public speaking and writing, and learning how to make a real impact in their communities.    Huge thanks to the @univofmaryland for hosting us, to @repglennivey for meeting with students in person on Capitol Hill, to Vice Chairman of the Prince George’s County Board of Education Jonathan Briggs for an insightful session on college readiness, and to the @pgcps community for showing what it means to invest in future leaders!
