The border wall is a disaster for wildlife.
So we teamed up with conservationcatalyst and sued the Trump administration for waiving dozens of environmental laws to speed 27-miles of border wall construction through the San Rafael Valley in Arizona’s Sky Island region.
This region — that has no evidence of frequent human migration — is a biodiversity hotspot that includes the most significant wildlife corridor remaining along the Arizona-Mexico border.
The border wall would block migration for dozens of imperiled species — including federally endangered jaguars and ocelots.
In fact, more jaguars have been documented in the San Rafael Wildlife Corridor than anywhere else in the U.S.
We've been fighting against this harmful border wall for years and we aren't slowing down.
