An unforgettable day at the Chopped Cheese Classic. From all the teams playing at McCarren Park to the festivities at the block party on Richardson Street, Saturday was an absolute dream come true. Seeing teams representing bodegas, delis, and corner stores—from all over the five boroughs—come together to play soccer, felt like the perfect way to close out a jam-packed month for the sport in the city. Bodega Truck ended up taking the championship after a stellar showing at the tournament, and the celebrations quickly spilled over to the streets for a fun afternoon of music, drinks, food, and of course, more soccer.
