THANK YOU PHILLY 🚌!! We finally got to experience firsthand why they call it the city of brotherly love. A place we’d wanted to visit ever since we began this soccer tour across the States. It’s not everyday you get to meet people who started a supporters’ group before a first-division team was even an idea in their city. And that eagerness to build and bring others into the fold was evident still today. An ethos that flows strongly from the Sons of Ben, to club staff, to the players. Chat after chat on the bus, we heard from people all across the community proudly recount how this club has become an integral part of their lives and a positive force in their city. It’s a beautiful thing to see a club at the highest level of the pyramid so naturally channel the feeling of togetherness that you typically find in lower-league, hyper-local teams across the country.
