You only need one strobe, your camera, and the sun 🌞 to create magic. Here’s my go-to setup for next-level portraits ⬇️
🔥 Step 1: Place your subject with their back to the sun — we’re using that light as a backlight.
⚡️ Step 2: Add your strobe (must do high-speed sync) on the opposite side of the sun, lighting the front.
🎯 Step 3: Expose for the background first.
💥 Step 4: Turn on your strobe and dial in power settings.
Boom. Studio-quality vibes outdoors — no second strobe needed.
This method was my bread and butter before I leveled up my gear, and it still hits 💯
