Tonight, we had the honor of recognizing Lt. Colonel Brian J Conway as our Mass State Lottery Hero of the Game. Lt. Colonel Conway has shown exceptional bravery and dedication serving in the US Army. Lt. Colonel Brian J Conway served in Vietnam from 1963 to 1964 as an aeromedical helicopter pilot called “DustOff. This is still the call sign used today. He was wounded during a rescue attempt and awarded a Purple Heart. A Congressional Gold Medal will be awarded to all “DustOff” crews for their service in that conflict, next year in Washington D.C.
