What do you know this beautiful #StormSurvivorSunday building as?! Completed in 1883 by famed architect, Nicholas J. Clayton, the W.L. Moody Building, currently home to Gracies Galveston, might affectionate and infinitely be known as Colonel Bubbies to some of you! After Colonel Moody’s previous building was destroyed in a fire, he hired Clayton to build back bigger and better. Many different organizations have called these brick walls home since that time; but from 1972 to 2014, the building housed the locally famous, Col.
