While this idea comes from early Christian tradition and not confirmed historical artifacts, it’s deeply symbolic and has been depicted in Christian art and writings for centuries. Interestingly, the Bible does reference Mount Moriah as the location where Abraham was tested (Genesis 22:2), and later in 2 Chronicles 3:1, it says Solomon built the Temple of the Lord on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem.
