Did Auburn Football's jersey numbers change size with the move to Nike? Without having the jerseys in hand to measure them directly, it's difficult to say. But what we can do is break out some of the older Under Armour uniforms in the collection, accurately measure them, and then use some pixel measurements to approximate the sizes on the new Nike jerseys. The NCAA rule book indicates that jersey numbers must be at least 8 inches tall on the front and 10 inches on the back. Through the first three Under Armour templates, the numbers slightly decreased in size. In 2019, the numbers increased again (at least on the samples I own). It's difficult to get accurate numbers on jerseys without physically measuring them. But it appears that the numbers on the last Under Armour jersey and first Nike tops are about the same height.
