Tributes have been paid to Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, who both died in a car crash on Thursday. Footballers and fans at the Women's Euros, and by teams training before this weekend's matches in the men's Club World Cup quarter-finals, gathered to pay tribute to Jota. Portugal's women's team held a silence, along with opponents Spain, around the centre circle before their opening match at Euro 2025 in Switzerland. Supporters also held up banners and pictures of Jota and Silva during emotional scenes before the game. Vigils have also been held across Spain and in Liverpool with fans gathering to lay candles and pictures in his memory. Tap the link in BBCNews's bio to read more tributes.
