Every Friday night, alumnus David Washington watches an action movie with his family. But he quickly got tired of rarely seeing protagonists that represent people of color. 🎬🦸🏾 “Every child deserves to see themselves in their heroes,” he said. So David turned to a medium he never expected: comic books.
