I haven’t covered any running in a whileeee, so I figured the Tokyo Marathon would be a good way to jump back in it 🏃 Only in its seventh year since its inception, the Tokyo Marathon *also* hosts the Tokyo Marathon Wheelchair Race, in which the winner, 2024 Paris Paralympic Bronze Medalist Tomoki Suzuki, completed with a time of 1:19:14, beating the existing record by 1:43:00. The mostly flat course runs throughout major neighborhoods in Tokyo with multiple loops and turns, including the start in Shinjuku, Chiyoda and a stretch in Ginza before finishing close to Tokyo Station. #tokyomarathon2025 #tokyo #sportsphotography #internationalmarathon #womeninsports #marathon
