Last month I went to DC with protectourwinters to lobby for our public lands and clean energy. I had the chance to meet face to face with the folks shaping the future of our planet and talk about the places that make us feel small in the best way—glaciers, coastlines, forests, and quiet trailheads at sunrise. These wild places raised me and gave me peace when I needed it and purpose when I felt lost. So stepping into a space where those places are actually on the line… it’s heavy, but it’s necessary.
