When Raudy Latta was a child, he was diagnosed with Perthes disease and had to wear a cast as part of his treatment. He remembers being scared when it was time to have it removed—especially of the provider holding the saw. 🩺 That provider? Bridget Burke, MPAS, PA-C—now a faculty member at Creighton and Latta's advisor in the Physician Assistant Studies program. “It was surreal,” says Latta of the full-circle moment. “What stands out the most is her positivity and kindness.
