Track 2. "Listen" This song was the hardest but most freeing song I wrote on the album. I had felt that so many people had so many predetermined assumptions about me. That they thought that my life could never be bad and I could never experience pain. In the darkest times of my life, many people also assumed and tried to fix my anxiety and depression instead of just empathize and be there for me like I truly needed them to be. I have experienced so much hurt, so much manipulation and failure but yet have been so successful, which tends to contradict that you would struggle and lead to less and less empathy. This lead me to scream and cry out for God to listen and tell me I am okay, all of me, not just part.
