Victory….. A lot of you may see this picture and assume I am here to show off myself in the height of my glory and success. But this picture was actually the end of success and the start of a long journey involving injury, anxiety, and depression that I could have never imagined. But sitting here a year and a half later, I have had a huge victory. I was listening to “See a Victory” as I was doing my most extended rep of consecutive running post-surgery yesterday, and blaring in my headphones was a chant of “I’m gonna see a Victory” as well as “You take what the enemy meant for evil and you turn it for good”. I ended up finishing this rep with my hands in surrender, screaming this until fatigue forced me to stop. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy but our Redeeming God turns our biggest trials into our biggest moments of victory.
