Following Charlotte-based visual artist Rajuma Bey as he searches for artistic inspiration, the story unfolds through a vivid reclamation of the Southern Black experience — honoring the roots that anchor us, the hands that shaped it, and the stories embedded in its fabric. Through dance, Black rodeos, Juneteenth pageantry, and ethereal studio moments, the film reimagines spaces that once excluded us as sites of power, visibility, and truth.
