A lot of young outfielders end up giving themselves way less of a chance to make a play simply based on where they set up🤷🏻‍♂️ Often times you see corner outfielders way to close to the lines without even seeing the opposing teams line up go through the order once 🤔 Its important to remember that hitters are always coached to “stay in the middle of the field” or “stay gap to gap”. So 99 out of a hundred times if a ball is hit down the first or third base line that was a mistake, because their intent was to stay in the middle of the field… they just happened to be a tick late or a tick early.
