For the young guys that didn’t get a chance to watch Big Papi in his prime☝🏽(and this is comin from a 3rd generation Yankee fan so I hate to say it…) but in my opinion davidortiz is not only THE BEST DH OF ALL TIME, but also the greatest under pressure clutch hitter of all time🏌️‍♂️ Ohtani does have the ability to catch him in the next decade, but as of right now its not even close🤫 Ortiz’s 20 walk off regular season hits is 3rd most in MLB history, and his 485 homers as a DH is the most of any player at that position😳 He retired as one of only 4 players in history with over 500 jacks and 600 doubles😧 Again rankings are just opinions, but I’d feel pretty comfortable ranking him somewhere between 50th-75th best MLB player of all time.
