IS HITTING ON TURF WITH SNEAKERS 👟 AND HITTING ON DIRT WITH CLEATS GOING TO PRODUCE THE EXACT SAME MOVES AND GROUND FORCES🤔 Personally I think its similar, but its not actually comparing apples to apples. I had an interesting conversation with my good friend nheadley14 about this awhile ago so I wanted to ask MY GUYY🤩 joeycecere2 who runs the force plates/custom bat fitting area betterbaseball in Atlanta. The challenge with finding the exact data is there aren’t any force plates under dirt so you only get the readings off turf with sneakers🤷🏽♂️ I wanted to take a deeper dive into this because over the years I’ve always noticed my own hitters moving differently when they swing on turf with sneakers and then 30 minutes later in a real game on dirt with cleats… their moves and lower half look slightly different🤔 I suppose the only way to know for certain is to put a force plate under the dirt in a batters box of an MLB stadium while players take live in game swings.
