I have dreamt of seeing these glacial rivers in Iceland for a very very long time. This has been at the top of my bucket list since I first saw chrisburkard post about them. Seeing them in person was even better than I thought it would be. Stretching miles in either direction and changing shapes and colors every few moments, this was an experience that truly took my breath away. Incredible grateful to have experienced with mom on our little road trip across the country. Extra thankful to the Icelandic weather gods for gracing us with a beautiful overcast day. It’s hard to gather the scale of these so look at the last photo and video to get an idea for the size. Everything is shot from a plane a few hundred feet up.
