Josh Owens, son of former Blue Crabs All-Star and Manager Jeremy Owens, was drafted by the Texas Rangers organization right out of high school this week. Owens was selected in the third round as the 84th pick of the 2025 MLB draft. The SS/OF is following in his father’s footsteps in playing professional baseball. During his time with the Blue Crabs, Jeremy Owens finished top ten in the league in many rankings, including games played (865), runs scored (516), home runs (129), and many more.
