📍 Múlafossur waterfall Gásadalur, Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 Gásadalur is home to Múlafossur waterfall that drops 30 metres (98 ft). Gásadalur (Danish: Gåsedal) is a village located on the west side of Vágar. It is on the edge of Mykinesfjørður, surrounded by the highest mountains on Vágar, and boasts a panoramic view of the island of Mykines. Until 2004, it could only be accessed by hiking over the mountains. But then the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel was made and it became possible to drive through by car or bus. When you’ve seen a place hundreds of times in photos, you often wonder if they will live up to the hype when you finally see them in person. And while I’d like to tell you this one doesn’t, so I don’t contribute more to overtourism - in this case, I can’t lie - it does...
