It’s been well documented that ‘food is fashion’ right now, with luxury brands adding hospitality spaces and experiences to their list of revenue streams. (We can feel the eye roll of chefs from here)
But just as luxury brands are branching into hospitaliy to combat economic downturns, how are hospitality spaces looking beyond the menu to combat the rising costs that they are navigating?
Some are building brands and branching out in creative ways, like selling products, creative collabs and focusing on content to reach wider audiences.
@yardsalepizza (a SALT office lunch favourite) has built a cult community around London. Aside from branded merch, which is mostly sold out, & limited-time only pizzas (like the upcoming YSP x
@bighas___ pizza), they have centralised their delivery service and partnered with selected venues and pubs, so that discerning diners can order a Yard Sale Pizza to be delivered while enjoying a pint. Chef’s kiss.
In our minds, hearts and mouths,
