Despite all odds - Aiden’s back on the field! Just 3 years after receiving an X-ray for a leg injury at a baseball tournament that turned into a life-changing diagnosis, Hampton native, Aiden, is using his experience to give back to others in our community. After a battle with osteosarcoma that resulted in the need to amputate below the knee, Aiden received a prosthetic blade and rejoined his varsity baseball team for his senior season. Now cancer free, Aiden, founder of Aiden’s Helping Hands, has raised more than $200,000 to reduce the financial burden for families battling pediatric cancer.
