Today is #FilmFriday, and while we’re plenty excited for the holidays, we can’t help but miss summer a bit when looking at these photos from elodiethelliez. But 2025 is just around the corner, and it’s going to be good camping weather before we know it. Elodie is based in New Mexico, but she spends a lot of time on the road, going wherever good photos can be found. “For me, film is the perfect intersection of a creative mind and a body that spends a high volume of time in the outdoors. Nothing compares to the accuracy in how film photography captures my experiences: in the unbeatable softness and color and motion. I spent some months this summer living out of my truck, roadtripping around the west. With my film cameras in tow, I documented my backpacking expeditions, frequent lake dips, new friends, and anything that i desired to be saved in memory.
