As part of our Climate Action Plan, we’re keeping tabs on just how much carbon our farmland stores by contracting an expert soil sampling company to measure our total carbon output. Among participating member farms, we found that they average 53 metric tons of carbon per acre in the soil, which is some of the highest carbon storage across the U.S. and Mexico.
