Sometimes you gotta grab your son, cancel all training sessions for the day and say, “You wanna drive and get something to eat?” If at 14 years old he says, “That sounds like fun Pops…” pat yourself on the back because you’re doing okay. I never want my sons to choose outside over home because I didn’t give them enough moments of love and laughter. I’m a tough person to please and I run my home with a soldiers understanding of discipline and work ethic.
