Baja SAE Maryland is in the books after 80 hours of driving! Final results from Maryland: 📍Suspension & Traction: 16th 📍Hill Climb: 20th 📍Business Presentation: 21st 📍Acceleration: 29th 📍Maneuverability: 36th 📍Endurance: 52nd 📍Overall: 36th out of 98 teams On lap 2 of endurance, another car made contact and we rolled. The hit bent part of the roll cage, but the team cut and welded in a new tube and got the car back on track. Despite being off track for a third of the race, RR7 was able to complete 24 laps with the time remaining in the race. Not every race weekend goes your way, but if there’s one thing about Rebel Racing, it’s that we don’t quit. We also made it a priority to help other teams, whether it was hardware, rule-compliant supplies, machining, or just lending a hand in the pits. That’s what this is all about.
