LAG leader and IFTJ participant, Molly Wysocki is spending her summer in Rome doing an internship with the Vatican about Laudato Si. Last week, she was able to attend the Mass for Creation and met Pope Leo! She passed along these pictures and this reflection: "I recently attended the Mass for the Care of Creation, celebrated by Pope Leo XIV, with the staff of Borgo Laudato si’, a new initiative at the Vatican focused on sustainability and integral ecology. Despite all of the formalities that accompanied Pope Leo’s presence, the experience was strikingly familial. A certain calmness and sense of peace enveloped the Madonnina Garden where it was held, juxtaposing the urgency of the pope’s call to environmental action in his homily. As I listened intently to the sounds of nature around me during the Mass, the divinity of the space came alive.
