Olivia Linscomb is a junior majoring in Fish, Wildlife, & Conservation Biology with a concentration in Entomology. Her favorite insect in the museum? The Great Crested Grasshopper — These fascinating grasshoppers come in only one species and are a beautiful sage green color.
Part of CSU’s Agricultural Biology department, the C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity houses nearly 5 million specimens. The museum supports CSU’s land-grant mission by advancing discovery, preservation, and appreciation of arthropod diversity in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond through research, teaching, and extension.
