Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm is almost sold out a year before its scheduled release. Reports suggest that most sales of the tickets took place within the first hour of going live. Because of the huge demand to see the film in it's intended form and limited tickets, scalpers have been able to demand 400% of its retail value and up. Meanwhile, four Saturday tickets at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City went on the auction block for a starting bid of $1,000 USD.
