Last week marked a powerful moment on campus—the installation of Sentinel, the first in a series of statues funded by Steph and Allie Pettit’s extraordinary gift to bring new art and energy to Bloomsburg. 🐾
But this is more than just a statue.
“Bloomsburg has always been a part of me, and I wanted to create something that celebrates everything it stands for—grit, determination, and unwavering Husky pride,” said Steph Pettit. “These statues honor the people who pour their hearts into this institution and who have made a lasting impact on my life and the lives of so many others. It’s about legacy—ours, theirs, and Bloomsburg’s.”
It’s the latest chapter in their legacy of generosity that now totals over $20 million—support that has touched nearly every corner of campus, from student scholarships and athletics, to the arts and beyond.
