Plan Baton Rouge III has officially launched, and your input is essential. Last week, more than 200 community members gathered at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum for the kickoff event, hosted by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation and project partners. Over the next year, nationally recognized planning firm Sasaki will work closely with the Baton Rouge community to create a bold, actionable vision for downtown. The planning area spans from the Mississippi River to Capitol Lake, Downtown East, and I-10, with a special focus on key corridors such as Main Street, Florida Street, North Boulevard, Government Street, 3rd Street, and Nicholson Drive.
