Guardians joined Second Gentleman of the United States Douglas Emhoff and Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt at a Washington D.C. elementary school to build toy rockets with fourth and fifth graders to create excitement about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The students worked with Guardians to design, build, and launch their balloon-powered rockets as a team. Emhoff and Burt emphasized the importance of learning about STEM at a young age to help students develop skills that will generate new ideas and creative solutions to tough problems in the future. #STEMtoSpace #USSF5 #GuardianSpirit
