It’s 2025 — and yes, Arkansas has a 30-year-old sophomore wide receiver on the roster. His name is Monte Harrison, and his story is wild. He’s not just joining the Razorbacks — he was already on the team last season. Most folks are just now realizing it. Let’s run it back: • In 2013, Monte was a 2-sport phenom, committed to Nebraska for football. • In 2014, he was drafted 50th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers in the MLB Draft. • Chose baseball. • Played for the Brewers’ minors, then got traded to the Marlins for MVP Christian Yelich. • Hit the big leagues in 2020. • Later played for the Angels and returned to the Brewers. After being released in 2023, he walked on at Arkansas and made the football team. Last season (2024), he recorded just 2 receptions for 29 yards. But now he’s officially listed as a sophomore in 2025… with four years of eligibility left. That means he could still be running routes at 33 years old.
