The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office got a report July 16 from the parents of a student, who reported they'd discovered their daughter had been involved in a sexual relationship with a teacher. The Tuscaloosa VCU Sexual Assault Section assumed the investigation, interviewed witnesses and recovered evidence before obtaining a warrant for 35-year-old Sarah Huggins Logan. Logan was arrested Friday, July 17, and charged with one count of being a school employee engaging in a sex act with a student.
