The 2025 Empowerment of Men in the Community event once again united the Gamma Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition of Sumter for a transformative day of growth and connection. This year’s event continued its mission of uplifting men by focusing on key pillars like family development, spiritual well-being, physical health, and social responsibility. Attendees gained access to tools for financial literacy, leadership development, and the importance of prioritizing mental and emotional self-care. By empowering men with the knowledge and resources they need, we’re strengthening families—and the community as a whole.
