WWE Hall of Famer JBL has revealed that a planned, long-term storyline for him in TNA Wrestling was abruptly canceled by a former executive who is no longer with the company. Speaking on the "Something to Wrestle" podcast, JBL confirmed that his recent storyline, which ended without a resolution, was supposed to have a "huge escalation." He stated, "I was supposed to be a part going forward... I'd agreed to what I was going to do... All that stuff was going somewhere, and I was very, very excited about it. Was training for it. I got in really good shape for it." JBL explained that he was called one day and told plans were changed, a decision he felt made "absolutely no sense."
