Class credit and cultural immersion! 🇯🇵 This summer, 19 Tigers in the Trinity in Japan program spent six unforgettable weeks exploring breathtaking sites and learning about contemporary Japanese society, business economy, politics, and cultural traditions. Led by Trinity faculty members Jorge Colazo, Katsuo Nishikawa Chávez, and Makiko Fukuda, the program included two courses: "Contemporary Japanese Politics and Society" and "The Japanese Production System in Context." Outside the classroom, students enjoyed local cuisine, karaoke, pop culture, and weekend adventures to historic and natural sites around Tokyo, including a four-day homestay in Minami Sanriku, a coastal town rebuilding after the 2011 tsunami. #TrinityUniversity #TrinityStudyAbroad tustudyabroad
