Happy #NationalDonutDay! Today we salute the innovator famed for adding the hole to the modern donut, Captain Hanson Gregory. During the 17th century, donuts (originally known as “oily cakes”) were so dense that when they were fried the edges were overcooked while the middle remained doughy. Gregory, a teenager at the time, had the idea of adding a hole in the middle so the donut could be cooked evenly. Just like Gregory was an innovator, you can find a great innovator of bulk solids handling solutions at hubs.la/Q01QWBJC0. Our systems can handle most any dry bulk solid (including the ingredients used in making donuts!). #Processing #Manufacturing #BulkSolids
