🇫🇷 The Renault 5 Turbo 2 is a rally-bred, mid-engined hot hatch produced in the 1980s as a homologation special, designed to dominate Group B rally stages. Unlike the standard Renault 5, the Turbo 2 featured a rear-wheel-drive layout and a mid-mounted 1.4L turbocharged engine, making it a performance icon of its era. Only around 3,200 Turbo 2 units were built, making them extremely rare today, especially in original condition. Finding one as a barn find, untouched and hidden away for decades, is exceptionally uncommon and highly prized among collectors, as most examples have either been heavily modified, raced, or restored.
