Hold on, hold on, let them cook! 🧑🍳🍳 Oberlin’s Black Student Union, also known as ABUSUA, hosted the event “Cooking Diasporic Foods with Africana Studies Faculty” for Black History Month and it was a great success! Together with faculty and staff, we prepared Ital stew, brown stew chicken, curry chicken, curry channa, and sweet potato pie. It was wonderful to be able to join this event and learn about different aspects of diasporic cooking. BHM programming will continue through March, be sure to watch the events calendar!
