Today, Make-A-Wish brought our new friend Riley to the ballpark to meet his favorite player, Paul Skenes, to play catch and meet with other players and coaches during batting practice. Less than a year ago, he was found in complete heart failure and life-flighted to Boston Children’s Hospital, later diagnosed with angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, Riley is in remission and back on the pitcher’s mound, playing the game he loves 💛
