Stair repair is underway at this historic Old Town home. Originally built in 1886, the framing and flooring in this home have been through a lot. Sometimes replacing a tread or two is enough, but in this case the original staircase wasn’t up to code and the stairs were no longer level. Working with hayleymaureendesign, we are giving this staircase some modern updates without taking away its historic charm. Each tread and riser has a custom cut to create the perfect fit. The red oak treads will be finished to match the existing flooring.
