Lonely in London... “I wanted to convey loneliness or the sense of being alone/isolated in a big city. The London Underground perfectly represents this idea of being in close proximity to strangers in a confined place. I thought the double exposure would enhance the image, with a lonely figure of a man going in one direction and the tiny silhouettes of a crowd going in the opposite direction (and through him).
