We had so many meaningful experiences with Ori Mor Yusef, our Upper Division shinshinit from jewish_colorado that we cannot believe the year is over and we will miss her so much! This year was our first year to have shinshinit included in iur ‘adjunct teacher’ plan, where Ori lead and executed a course in our Wednesday elective classes. Ori offered and Israeli Culture class to middle and high school students and every lesson was packed with Israeli fun! Ori was always looking for the best way to ‘bring Israel’ to the classroom, she taught with so much creativity, relevancy and created a space for the students to ask and learn about Israel post October 7th. Ori really cared for her students and made real connections with them.
